Staff Profile

Maree Stuart is the Principal Consultant of MAS Management Consultancy Services. Prior to starting her own company, Maree worked for NATA for over 11 years, with over 9 years in management positions. During her time at NATA, Maree worked in the areas of Reference Material Producers accreditation, Proficiency Testing Scheme Providers accreditation, OECD Good Laboratory Practice, PACIA Responsible Care auditing and Chemical Testing. Maree also has extensive experience working in both chemistry and microbiology laboratories across a number of industry sectors. She has a BSc. and an MBA (with Merit), both from the University of Newcastle. Maree is a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and a member of the Metrology Society of Australia and the Australian Organisation for Quality.

Maree has extensive experience developing and evaluating management systems, as well as an excellent knowledge of the accreditation and certification industries. Maree was also heavily involved in the development of a number of standards used for accreditation purposes.
